According to various sources in Spain, Barcelona and Liverpool have agreed a deal in paper for Philippe Coutinho to move to the Spanish giants for 120 million euros ($144 million) with add-ons worth another 40 million euros.

Though,  details of the deal were still to be finalised, Barcelona-based Sport newspaper said Coutinho would join Barca this month on a deal for five seasons.

“The club reached a deal in principle yesterday evening with Liverpool on the final amount of the deal,” Sport reported.

According to various sport sources online, Philippe Coutinho has arrived in Barcelona to complete his £142m transfer from Liverpool.

The Reds yesterday evening announced on their official website that they had agreed a deal with Barca for Coutinho’s sale. Therefore, is not surprising to see the Brazil international touched down in the Catalan city’s airport last night.
