Photos Of Beyonce Marks Her 37th Birthday With Jay Z

She also took time to address her fans and thank them for all the love she’s received during her “monumental year”.

The star turned 35 over the weekend and was flooded with messages from fans and famous faces alike. “I just want to say thank you to everyone for all the beautiful and thoughtful birthday wishes,” she wrote on Monday.

“I am so fortunate to have the love and support of my family, my friends, and my hive. We’ve grown up together and you guys continue to inspire and motivate me everyday.

She continued: “I’m so grateful for every challenge, every smile, every tear, every discovery, every sacrifice, every triumph, every stretch mark, every kiss, every scar. I strive to make you proud. I love YOOOUUUU!!! B.”

Two days following her birthday, Bey wants everyone to know she heard us, and she’s grateful. On her website, she posted a letter titled “Your Bitch at 36” to memorialize the past year of her life.

“At 36, I became a mother of three, I breastfed twins. I renewed vows with my husband of ten years,” she writes, referencing her babies Sir and Rumi Carter. “I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything Is Love. And we’ve been touring with our whole family around the world, and loving it.”

Thinking back on everything Bey accomplished in the past year, it’s hard to argue that this hasn’t been a particularly important one for the icon and best performer currently living. “This year has been monumental for me. I thank God for everyone in my life,” she wrote. “Thank you for all the positivity and for the beautiful birthday wishes. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from my past, living in the present, and surrendering to the future.”

She ends the letter with a direct shout out to her loyal fans: “I love you, Hive. B.”
