Nicki Minaj has joined the cast of Angry Birds Movie 2. She joins a star studded cast that includes Peter Dinklage, Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader, Josh Gad, and Danny McBride.
Others who have also joined to lend their voices to the sequel are Leslie Jones, Sterling K. Brown, Awkwafina, and Lil Rel Howery.
This will be the first time she will be working on an animated film. Her first role in a movie came in 2012 when she voiced the role of Steffie in Ice Age: Continental Drift. She also starred in the comedy The Other Woman, and Barbershop: The Next Cut.
Angry Birds Movie 2 will premiere three years after the original, which grossed $352.3 million worldwide and $107.5 million domestically.
