11-ways to maintain your vocal chord

1. Keep your throat and neck muscles relaxed even when singing high notes and low notes.  When singing high notes don’t tilt your heads up and down when singing low notes, as if the high notes are on the ceiling and the low notes are on the floor. With time you will be limiting your vocal range and damage your vocal cord. So relax your neck muscles no matter the note you are singing
2. When you use your voice for longer periods take “vocal naps" or break, especially during periods of extended use. While taking vocal nap avoid noisy area.
3. Do vocal warm up every day.
4. Avoid taking loudly in noisy   area, Avoid yelling and shouting.
5. . Your vocal cords vibrate very fast, and having a proper water balance helps keep them lubricated so to avoid friction. Drink water to keep your body well hydrated, and avoid alcohol and caffeine.
